Alberta is the President of the Young Ambassadors Society. She founded YAS at the age of 19 and she co-founded the Y7 and Y20 with a global network of youth associations. After graduating in economics, Alberta worked for several years in a leading global investment bank and financial company in London. More recently, Alberta founded a social impact start-up Fibi, the Italian ed-tech community that has the goal of closing the financial gender gap.
She frequently interacts with global policy makers, institutions, companies and media to promote youth and women empowerment.
Alberta practised boxing for several years and she loves martial arts, yoga, and travelling around the world.
Edoardo joined YAS after his experience as Y20 delegate in 2015 in Turkey.
He has worked in the global financial sector for more than 10 years and he is currently Director in a leading asset management company in London. His work focuses on quantitative research, and in particular on studying the impact of climate change on the global economy and financial markets.
Edoardo has lived in 4 countries across Europe and loves travelling the world.
Marta joined YAS in 2015 and, she is now the Head of YAS’ Social Media team.
Marta holds a BSc and MSc in Finance, with studying experiences in Italy, Norway, and Finland. She has several volunteering and mentoring experience and currently works in a leading investment management company, and she is based between Oslo and London.
Marta loves travelling, meeting new people and discovering new cultures. She is passionate about mountain hiking and she practised orienteering at national level for many years.
Stefano joined YAS in 2021 when YAS chaired the Y20 Italy. He lives in Rome and currently oversees the tech infrastructure of YAS, developing and maintaining YAS’ website and digital platforms. Stefano attended the coding school 42 Roma Luiss, and he has several years of experience in coding and digital marketing.
In his free time, he runs and organizes events for his running club.
Allegra is a trained economist with expertise in strategic research and policy development. She earned her B.A. at Luiss University and her M.A. at King’s College London. Currently based in London, she works in sustainable finance, actively promoting socially responsible development and value creation. A former Y20 delegate and current Y7 chair of the Future of Work track, Allegra is dedicated to fostering inclusive and sustainable growth within rapidly evolving industries and labour markets.
Agnese is Public Affairs Director for Enfinity Global, a leading renewable energy company that develops value-added solutions to create a zero-carbon future. She has volunteered with YAS for over ten years focusing mainly on partnerships.
Previously, she was responsible for government relations at an American Fortune 500 high tech company, where she drove the engagement and public policy discourse with the Italian and German Governments. From 2015 to 2020 she worked in Brussels as a policy and partnerships officer for two specialised agencies of the United Nations.
She speaks five languages, and in her free time loves to run and cook.
Currently Business Development Lead at ALK Canada, Francesca is chairing the New Skills, Entrepreneurship & Future of Work track at the 2024 Y7 summit. With experience in entrepreneurship and international affairs, she spent the last 7 years in the global pharmaceutical sector, driving innovation to improve patient outcomes. She holds a BA in International Business and Affairs from John Cabot University and an M.Sc. in International Management from the London School of Economics, and was Y20 delegate in 2021.
Fabio is a computational scientist at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School, and the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. With a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in biomedical engineering from Politecnico di Milano and a Ph.D. from the Technical University of Munich, he is actively involved in the biotech start-up scene and collaborates with various venture funds and entrepreneurial associations. He was a Y7 delegate in 2021 and is chairing the Digital and Technology track at the 2024 Y7 summit.
Giulia is Inclusive Growth Policy Officer at UNDP Viet Nam, and she has previously held roles in relevant policy-oriented institutions. She Co-founded Officine Italia, a non-profit with the mission to catalyze a positive change of Italy’s outlook. Giulia has been Italy’s Head of Delegation at the Y7 Summit 2023 in Japan. She holds a Master in Diplomacy from the Italian Institute for International Political Studies, a Master in Public Policy from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, a MSc in Accounting and Finance and a BA in Business and Management from Bocconi University.
Roberta is a consultant focusing on socio-economic development at Steward Redqueen. She holds a B.Sc in International Economics and Finance and a M.Sc in Politics and Policy Analysis from Bocconi University. She has previous work experiences as a research analyst in financial inclusion at the European Investment Bank and in equitable economic growth at the World Bank Group. She is chairing the Diversity and Inclusion track at the 2024 Y7 summit.
Lucrezia is a Ph.D. researcher in pharmaceutical chemistry with a MSCA ITN fellowship at the University of Freiburg, Germany. She holds a B.Sc. in agro-industrial biotechnology from La Sapienza University and a M.Sc. in biotechnology and environmental and biobased technology from Wageningen University. She previously worked as consultant advising start-ups on the best commercial and technical strategies to write proposals for funding programs. Passionate about transdisciplinarity and innovation she is chairing the Digital and Technology track at the 2024 Y7 summit.
Francesca Suriano
Francesca is an aerospace engineer at a leading italian company specializing in the design and development of space launch systems. She holds a BSc and MSc in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Torino. She also holds a Master’s in Space Geopolitics from SIOI. She has attended the ESA Summer School on Space Law and Policy. Beyond her engineering career, she pursues her passion for journalism by writing for a magazine, with a particular focus on international affairs. Passionate about reading, writing, and traveling, she is also actively engaged in human rights advocacy. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis.
Chiara Picchi
Chiara holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Pisa and is currently specializing in Marketing at Roma Tre University. She has gained valuable experience in the marketing and communication field through roles at Sammontana S.p.A. and Face D Italian Dermocosmetics. Passionate about travel and sports, she combines her interest in the digital world with social media strategy, working as a member of the social media team.

Stefania Paterno
Stefania joined YAS in 2024 after participating remotely in COP29. She holds a BSc in International Relations and is now approaching the end of her Master’s in Sustainability Management. Her academic journey has taken her across Italy, the United States, Germany, and France. Throughout her studies, she has been actively involved in various associations, gaining extensive experience in sustainability consulting. Looking ahead, she aspires to make a significant impact in her career, with a strong interest in nature-based solutions. In her free time, Stefania enjoys swimming, reading, and learning new languages.
Gina Maria Zaccheo
Gina is a consultant specializing in internal audit, compliance and risk management, currently working at a consulting firm in Rome. She holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master of Science in Business Administration from Tor Vergata University of Rome, both completed entirely in English, with a study abroad experience in Germany.
Passionate about sustainability, she actively engages in volunteering, collaborating with Greenpeace. In 2025, she joined YAS as a data visualizer in the social media team, combining her analytical expertise with digital communication.
Paola is a Senior Analyst for the Defence and Security Desk at Istituto Analisi Relazioni Internazionali (IARI) and an Insight Author for the Global Network on Extremism and Technology (GNET), International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation (ICSR), King’s College London. She joined YAS as a Global Youth Leaders Program and Youth 7 Observer during the G7 Italy 2024. Today, she writes articles on international affairs, politics, and social justice for YAS and she is also responsible for the YAS Geopolitics Column. Paola is a member of the European Student Think Tank, where she serves as the Ambassador to Italy. Her experience in youth advocacy is reinforced by well-honed linguistic and cultural mediation skills in Italian, English, German, French, and Arabic.
