WFF 2026 Provisional Agenda

The World Food Forum (WFF) serves as the premier global platform to actively shape agrifood systems for a better food future, accelerating the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This year, the flagship event will be held from 8 to 16 October at the headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Rome, Italy, and online. It will bring together world experts, impassioned changemakers and visionary leaders of all ages around four pillars: 

  1. Global Youth Action
  2. Science and Innovation
  3. Hand in Hand investments
  4. Rome Water Dialogue
As YAS delegate attending in person, you will be able to join the events organized during the WFF, meet other delegates, and have the opportunity to be selected for one of the thematic working groups. As YAS delegate attending online, you will be accredited to follow the online events during the WFF.
 
Please complete and submit the application form no later than Sunday 16th August 23:59 CEST. After your application, you will receive an email with the results of your application by the 17th October.

Please note that expenses for food, accommodation, and transportation to attend the WFF 2026 are not covered.

    YAS offers delegates, who will attend the WFF 2026 in person, the opportunity to be selected for a thematic working group within the Delegation.

    Each working group is coordinated by an experienced YAS member and contributes to the Delegation through activities such as drafting a statement paper with reflections and recommendations from the WFF events, creating social media content, identifying and reporting on relevant WFF events, and other related tasks.

    Working groups will meet online at least once before the event and will have recurrent touchpoints during the Forum (between 12th to 16th of October).

    Availability for the working groups is limited. If you choose to join a working group, and you are selected, we ask that you commit to participating actively and contributing responsibly throughout the process.
