COP 29 - Baku, Azerbaijan

The 29th Conference of the Parties, under the aegis of the UNFCCC, represents a crucial moment for global climate change negotiations. During this globally significant event, international leaders, industry experts, and civil society representatives come together to discuss and propose concrete solutions and immediate actions aimed at combating the climate crisis. COP29 offers young people a unique platform to actively participate in negotiation processes and promote ambitious climate policies, upholding the principle of intergenerational equity.

YAS will select two delegations to represent the organization throughout the event. One delegation will follow the activities from November 11 to 16, while the other will be engaged from November 18 to 22.

As part of the YAS delegation, you will have the opportunity to follow the proceedings of the COP and contribute by reporting on discussions and creating content to share the outcomes with other young people in Italy and abroad.
