CSW70 - United Nations, New York

Delegates application

The Young Ambassadors Society (YAS) is now recruiting delegates to join the YAS Delegation at the 70th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70), organized by UN Women, which will take place from 9 to 20 March 2026 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

CSW is the principal global intergovernmental body exclusively dedicated to the promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of women. Each year, representatives from UN Member States, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders gather to discuss progress, share best practices, and develop strategies to advance gender equality worldwide. This year’s priority theme is “Ensuring and strengthening access to justice for all women and girls, including by promoting inclusive and equitable legal systems, eliminating discriminatory laws, policies, and practices, and addressing structural barriers.”

As a YAS delegate, you will have the opportunity to follow the proceedings, attend side-events, engage with key stakeholders, and contribute to raising awareness about the discussions, events, and outcomes of CSW70 by producing content and sharing insights with the YAS community.

The deadline for submitting the application is 30th December 2025 at 23:59 CET.

Please note that applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so we strongly encourage you to apply as early as possible.
