Delegates application

The Young Ambassadors Society (YAS) is now recruiting delegates to join the YAS Delegation at the 9th edition of the Paris Peace Forum, which will take place from 10 to 11 November 2026 at the Palais de Chaillot in Paris.

Founded in 2018, the Paris Peace Forum is a platform for dialogue that brings together heads of state and government, representatives of international organisations, business leaders, researchers, and civil society actors to exchange and develop concrete responses to major challenges facing global governance and international cooperation. The 2026 edition will take place under the theme “From Sovereignty to Cooperation” and will address key priorities on the international agenda, including peace and security, development, climate action, technology and artificial intelligence, and the future of multilateralism.

As a YAS delegate, you will have the opportunity to take part in the Forum through the #YouthTrack, a dedicated programme created by the Paris Peace Forum to place young people at the heart of international dialogue. The #YouthTrack brings together students and young professionals from around the world who are committed to multilateralism and provides opportunities to engage with diplomatic stakeholders, decision-makers and international leaders, discover different perspectives on major global challenges, and build connections with peers from across the world.

Throughout the two days of the Forum, #YouthTrack participants will have access to a tailored programme, exclusive opportunities and exchanges with public figures, decision-makers and international leaders. The programme also extends beyond the Forum itself, with thematic events organised by student associations and institutional and academic partners, as well as a year-long #YouthTrack community offering opportunities for further exchanges and networking throughout the year.

As part of the YAS delegation, you will also be expected to actively contribute to the delegation’s work by engaging with the Forum’s discussions, producing content and sharing insights with the YAS community, helping to raise awareness of the key discussions, events and outcomes of the Paris Peace Forum.

The deadline for submitting the application is October 4th at 23:59 CET.

Please note that applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so we strongly encourage you to apply as early as possible.

When

The conference will take place from 10 to 11 November 2026. While the #YouthTrack provides access to the Forum and its dedicated programme, you are not required to attend every activity taking place around the Forum

Profile of the

Delegates

To apply to join the YAS Delegation at the Paris Peace Forum 2026, candidates must:

  • Be fluent in English;
  • Have volunteer, studying, entrepreneurial, or working experiences related to international affairs, multilateralism, peace and security, development, climate action, technology and artificial intelligence, or other areas connected to the Forum’s priorities;
  • Be willing and able to work in a team with other Italian and international delegates;
  • Be able to attend the Paris Peace Forum, actively participate in the #YouthTrack, work with the delegation and the YAS team to produce engaging content and share key insights and outcomes with the YAS community;
  • Be able to finance the costs associated with participation in the meeting, including travel, accommodation, meals, visa and other personal expenses;
  • Be able to obtain a VISA to enter France, if required;
  • Please note that to join the YAS Delegation, it is not required to hold an Italian passport. However, the conditions outlined above must be met.
