The Young Ambassadors Society (YAS) is now recruiting the delegates who will join the YAS Delegation at the 69th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW69), organized by UN Women, taking place from 10 to 21 March 2025.
CSW is the principal global intergovernmental body exclusively dedicated to the promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of women. Each year, representatives from UN Member States, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders gather to discuss progress, share best practices, and develop strategies to advance gender equality worldwide. This year’s priority theme is “Gender equality in the context of climate change, environmental and disaster risk reduction policies and programs.”
YAS delegates will have the opportunity to follow the proceedings, attend side events, engage with key stakeholders, and contribute to raising awareness about the discussions, events, and outcomes of CSW69 by creating content and sharing insights with the YAS community.
The deadline for submitting the application is 24th January 2025 at 23:59 CET. Please note that applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so we strongly encourage you to apply as early as possible.
When
The conference will take place from 10 to 21 March 2025. While the pass we provide will grant access for the entire duration of the event, you are not required to attend every day

Profile of the
Delegates
To apply to join the CSW69 candidates must:
Be fluent in English;
Have volunteer, studying, entrepreneurial or working experiences related to the priority area;
Be willing and able to work in team with other Italian and international delegates;
Be able to attend the CSW69, work with the delegation and the YAS team to produce detailed reports and engaging social media content that amplify the event’s key discussions and impact, and share key outcomes with stakeholders and the broader YAS community.
Be able to finance the costs associated with the participation in the meeting, like travel, accommodation, visa etc;
Be able to get a VISA to enter the hosting country, if required;
Please note that to join the Italian Delegation it is not required to hold an Italian passport however the conditions outlined above must be met.
